Spicebomb (2012) is one of the most aptly named fragrances in men's perfumery. That grenade bottle isn't just for show — open it and you get an instant blast of chilli pepper, bergamot, and grapefruit that genuinely feels like an explosion of fresh spice.
The spicy heart is where this really shines: cinnamon, elemi resin, and a beautifully blended tobacco note give it warmth and depth without tipping into cloying sweetness. The dry-down is leather and vetiver — dry, refined, and genuinely masculine. It's one of the best winter fragrances available at this price point.
Performance is excellent: 8–12 hours on skin in cold weather, with strong projection for 4–5 hours. In summer heat it can come across as too heavy — this is primarily an autumn/winter scent. Apply 2-3 sprays to neck and chest.

Verdict: The original EDT is the best cold-weather version. Infrared if you want something year-round. Extreme is sensational but very heavy — winter evenings only.

Spicebomb prices are fairly stable year-round but you'll find the best deals during Black Friday and the run-up to Christmas. It's a perennial gift-list fragrance — retailers often bundle it with miniatures or aftershave balm.
Target: £70 or under for 90ml is excellent value. The 50ml at £49 makes a great gift or travel-sized option if you're unsure.
