The original Le Male EDT (1995) is one of the best-selling masculine fragrances of all time. The EDP version, launched later, takes everything that worked and turns up the warmth. Where the EDT is powdery lavender and clean mint, the EDP is deeper, more sensual, and significantly longer-lasting.
The opening is still recognisably Le Male — lavender and mint — but the heart is where the differences emerge. A richer vanilla and tonka bean foundation gives the EDP a gourmand-adjacent quality that the EDT lacks. It's warmer, more evening-appropriate, and notably more intimate when it dries down to skin.
Performance is excellent for an EDP: expect 10–12 hours of wear with projection that softens after the first 2–3 hours into an attractive skin-scent radius. Outstanding in autumn and winter; can feel heavy in summer heat.
